{Some of my favourite Instagram pictures}

I don’t know about you but I love Instagram – it’s such a fantastic way of capturing the moment and, let’s face it, even the most mundane picture will look pretty with an added filter. If we’re talking Social Media, I much prefer it to Facebook and Twitter (which I really don’t get on with but that’s a different story..)

Having already ordered two sheets of fridge magnets from Stickygram (they should arrive any day now), I’ve found some other great ways of preserving your best Instagram snaps:

1. Design your own mobile phone (or iPad) case using your Instagram photos at Casetagram.

2. Log onto Postagram and make postcards out of your Instagram pictures to send to friends and family.

3. Turn your images into cool stickers to put on letters, cards, notebooks etc at Instagoodies.

4. Printstagram lets you develop and print your Instagram photos. Create a poster sized collage of your favourite images or turn them into greeting cards, a mini book or a calendar.

What do you think of Instagram – love it, loathe it? I would also love to hear if you have any other tips on what to do with your Instagram pics.

Linked In

I wanted to share with you some of my favourite links that I’ve come across on the Internet in the last week:

1. What makes a home happy? Hint: It’s not designer furniture or immaculate carpets… (

2. I’ve discovered a great website for furniture and home inspiration: I want this chair for the desk in my bedroom.

3. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Read this article to find out. I think I’m a sociable introvert (if there is such a thing?) who prefers one-to-ones and smaller groups. I get quite shy at larger gatherings and absolutely loathe networking.

4. Emails and texts are great but sometimes only proper stationery will do and you can’t go wrong with classic Smythson of Bond Street.

5. Check out the best new nail polishes for Fall. Which one is your favourite?

6.Halloween is fast approaching and I can’t wait to get our box of decorations and costumes down from the loft. Here are some great tips for decorating your house.

7. Turn your Instagram photos into fridge magnets at Stickygram. They cost $14.99 per sheet of 9 and shipping is free worldwide. I just ordered two sheets today so will let you know what I think when they arrive.

8. If, like me, you struggle to keep on top of all the clutter that mysteriously accumulates in the house, Oprah’s ‘organizational guru’ Peter Walsh has some very useful strategies to get you on the right track.

Off to Sweden we go!

The bags are packed, the house is clean, the fridge is empty and the milk has been cancelled. All that remains is to load everything and everyone into the car and we’ll be on our way tomorrow morning. Catching the ferry to Denmark and then driving over to Sweden to stay in a cottage by the beach. I can’t wait!

I will try to update the blog while I’m away but you can also follow me on Instagram where I’m called aspoonfulofstyle (link)
