Scarves in all different colours and patterns are an essential part of my autumn/winter wardrobe. Not only do they keep me warm but they also instantly update my “boring” uniform of skinny jeans and baggy jumper. I already have a rather large collection of scarves tucked away in my wardrobe but on my Christmas list this year is a warm, tartan scarf to snuggle up in when the really cold weather hits (typically in January/February). A classic Burberry scarf in the softest cashmere would really hit the spot but I have a feeling that Father Christmas will be on a budget this year, so a nice one from Zara or Topshop would do just nicely.
{In the picture above, clockwise from top left, is just a small selection of my current favourites: Grey and white star scarf from Danish brand Becksondergaard; Pink with stars from another Danish label Kudibal; Black & white leopard print from Swedish brand Ester Elenora; Flowery tube scarf from H&M; Another favourite from Ester Elenora; My favourite winter wrap-around in grey and white, also by Ester Elenora; Classic Alexander McQueen skull scarf; The perfect summer scarf in the softest pink with tiny white hearts from Becksondergaard.}
My favorite layering piece…E-V-E-R!😉 Great scarves you got there!
Thank you:) I always seem to be able to justify another scarf purchase..X
I have that McQueen scarf also!!! Just in a a different color 🙂
Ooh it’s one of my favourites. I would love it in another colour too. Which one have you got? X
I have the black one with pink skulls. But I really like the black and white too 🙂
xx
Great pics of you ! Love the leo print.xx
Thank you. I love that one too, livens up any outfit X
Love this post! I’m obsessed with scarves as well…especially the infinity ones. On the look out for a tartan scarf myself:)
Thank you. If you find a nice tartan one let me know. The one I had an eye on from Zara has sold out 😦 X
I actually found one today at Mendocino near my place. I’m gonna go back and get it tomorrow.
Beautiful! Scarves are indeed an essential in a girl’s wardrobe!
Thank you. Couldn’t agree more! X
Love scarves! I especially love that they give a fullness to my top half (which I don’t have naturally, lol) and they frames faces beautifully. Thanks for sharing your pretty pics!
Same as me, my top half is slimmer than my bottom half so they ‘even things out’. And as I wear a lot of black, white, grey and denim they add a splash of colour/pattern. X
I love all of them 🙂 Perhaps the ones with pink stars and the skull scarf are my favorite. My favorite scarf right now is from Denmark and it is eggplant color.
Thank you. Ooh that sounds really nice…Danish design is lush. X
I love scarves too! The leopard one has to be my favorite one 🙂 I love pairing animal print with bright colors! everydaysarahjane.com
I love the leopard one, nice and warm too. Thanks so much for stopping by. I love your blog and your fashion tips. X
I am a little bit jealous. I love scarves and don’t really get to wear them nowadays. Even when we travel to cold places, I can’t justify taking more than one (or, ok, two) because of packing restrictions!
The Becksonderggard summer scarves in cotton come in a great selection of colours and are perfect on a summer’s evening. I quite often wear one with just a T-shirt in the summer. X
Yes, but not in the summer of Singapore you don’t. 😉
I have a couple of light ones I wear to the cinema sometimes I guess.
Ah, true. You’ll have to turn up the air conditioning really high and wear them indoors 🙂 Have you lived there long?
On and off five years. The air con was actually high enough in the train today – not sure what was going on there. I had both kids huddled on my lap together (not peacefully, either). I wish I’d had a scarf on that trip…
