Poor Clemmie has got tonsillitis so it was a day at home for us today, curled up on the sofa in front of CBeebies while I did my best to boost the country’s economy by pressing the ‘click to buy’ button on my computer more times than I care to remember. We did venture out to pick up some antibiotics from the chemist and I couldn’t resist snapping some pictures of the lovely Christmas displays in the shop windows. Our village is pretty all year round but it really comes into its own at Christmas time.

Wow- lovely photos to take along your walk. Such charming holiday decorations!!
Thank you. It really feels like Christmas is just around the corner now. X
Thanks for sharing! Your photos put me in the Christmas spirit for sure:) I looove checking out Christmas displays.
Me too. I wish I had time to go up to London before Christmas but I don’t think I’ll be able to. Hopefully it will still be looking festive when we go to the ballet at the beginning of January. X
I hope so:) I’m excited for the ballet too!
Lovely, Christmassy holiday cheer…
I love it, all the lights and decorations make our high street look fabulous. X
Everything looks so warm and happy:)!! Christmasy!
It does. I love our village at Christmas time. X

SO pretty. I’m jealous. π
It does look very pretty but the weather here is cold and grey so I would swap for sunshine any day! X
I hope Clemmie feels better real soon! Wow such lovely window displays, winter wonderland π
Thank you. I had to stop myself from buying loads of new decorations. I went a bit mad last year so need to get all the big boxes down from the loft to remind myself of how much stuff we’ve got already! X
A little madness last year is last year’s little madness, right?! π
I am glad you are in the Christmas spirit Ase! And Clemmie is not letting anything ruin the holidays so she already has a check mark next to being sick. No more of that this year! How is she?
xoxo, Eszter
She’s much better, the antibiotics seem to be working. I was just saying the same thing to my sister last night: hopefully she’s getting the sickness out of the way before Christmas! Xxx
