{I love this quote by Coco Chanel – picture from Pinterest}
Hello! It’s only 4.30pm and it is already getting very dark outside. Time to call in Cameron and his friend who are playing football out in the garden – how they can possibly see the ball I do not know. Pizza and hot dogs for dinner followed by ice cream and hot chocolate – it is Friday after all.
My advent candle holder arrived in the post today (just in time for Sunday, phew!) so I’ve been busy getting that sorted and hanging up our white paper stars in the windows of the conservatory. I will try to take some pictures tomorrow when the light is better to show you. Otherwise, there is not much planned for tonight – just a movie with the kids, an episode or two of Breaking Bad (we have just started the second series) and maybe a glass of mulled wine. My kind of Friday night đ
What are your plans? X
Wow hot chocolate sounds good đ Have a great weekend. We went to see the christmas market, it opened today, I had mulled white wine đ
I LOVE Christmas markets! Just the thing to get in the festive mood! X
Sounds heavenly! It’s 1:00 pm here and the countdown to Friday night is on – my favourite time of the week: the week is behind us but the chaos of the weekend yet to descend. Taking the youngest to Tumble Tots, middle to Karate and then picking up the oldest . . .easy-peasy dinner, early to bed for them and Ray Donovan for me and my husband (wine too, of course!). Have a great weekend đ
I know, that calm that descends on Friday evening is indeed heavenly. Hope you have a great weekend too. X
If you like/have any amaretto I seriously suggest adding it to your mulled wine..was a revelation for me! x
Ooh that sounds interesting, must try that next time. In the end I just had a glass of normal wine last night as husband’s ‘meeting’ (in a pub) ran over (funny that..)
Didn’t mind too much though as it meant I could catch up on all the episodes of Made in Chelsea I had missed! X
