{The gifts bearing my name this year included a pair of classic short Ugg boots, the Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palette, a Diptyque Baies scented candle, a scarf from American Vintage, Jamie Oliver’s latest cook book and a pair of slippers from The White Company.}
As we tumble headfirst into 2014, Christmas Day is already starting to feel like a distant memory. Our Christmas tree and decorations are still up but by this weekend they will be packed away again for another year. While the festive season is all about being together, enjoying each others company (well mostly anyway – Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the little arguments that seem to rear their head after the turkey has been polished off), it is always nice to find a few presents under the tree. Judging by Santa’s generosity, I must have been a very good girl this year…
Now we’re off to battle the crowds and indulge in a bit of Sales shopping as well as exchanging a couple of gifts. With less than 12 hours remaining of 2013 I wish you all a very happy New Year! X
Wishing you a very happy New Year! xxx
And same to you. Xxx
Happy New Year to you and your lovely family ! XX
And a very Happy New Year to you too! Xx
Dropping by to say Happy New Year!!
Thank you. Happy new year to you too X
Love your gifts! I asked for rain boots instead of those boots so now, the Uggs remain on my list of wants. 🙂 I’ve heard a lot of great things about the Naked eye shadow palettes! Happy New Year to you and your family. xoxo
At the moment rain boots would be more useful here too! It’s been raining pretty much all Christmas 😦 I’m looking forward to using the new eyeshadows and looking up some tips on beauty blogs. Happy new year to you and the family too. Xxx
Love the tie dye scarf!
Thank you. I love how it goes with all the colours I like to wear: black, grey, cream and muted pink. X
How do you find that Jamie Cookbook? I’ve heard it’s popular, but you’re the first I know of who actually owns it.
So far we’ve only tried two dishes – the paella which my husband made on New Year’s Eve and the Butternut squash rigatoni which I made tonight. Both yummy but what I like most about the book is that he suggests making big Sunday roasts and then using the leftovers to make two or three more dishes during the week. Cuts down on food waste and saves money. X
I’ve always liked “cook once, eat twice” – a few more ideas on how to make that work sounds great.
Wow I love all your gifts! I wish I would get such great gifts 🙂 I love Jamie Oliver. Happy New Year to you and your family!
Thank you. Just wish it would stop raining so I could wear my Ugg boots…Happy new year to you too. X
